Deepavali crackers
8 November 2026
Keep the list modest and mostly light rather than sound. Sparklers, flower pots and ground chakkars cover a family evening in the courtyard. If you already plan to order for Vishu, a small Deepavali list now and the larger one in March works well.
Vishu crackers
Mid April, on the first day of Medam
Buy for two sittings: Vishu eve and the morning after the kani. Garlands and sound crackers mark the dawn, and the eve wants the full spread of sparklers, flower pots, chakkars and a cake or two for the sky. This is the order to make your biggest of the year.
Onam crackers
August or September, in the month of Chingam
A short, quiet list: sparklers, flower pots and a few novelties for Thiruvonam evening. The minimum order covers far more than Onam needs, so keep the rest sealed and dry for Deepavali or Vishu.
Thrikkarthika crackers
November or December, in the month of Vrischikam
Keep it to light, not sound: a box or two of sparklers and a few flower pots, set well away from the lamps. Many families simply keep back part of their Deepavali order for this evening.
Christmas and New Year crackers
25 December and 31 December
Plan for midnight. A repeater cake or two, a few sky shots, and sparklers to pass round when the bells ring or the year turns. December is dry in Kerala, so the boxes keep well on a high shelf until then.
Temple festivals and pooram crackers
Through the year, peaking in the pooram season
We sell household crackers only, in sealed retail boxes. For the festival night at home, sparklers, flower pots and chakkars are enough. A temple committee planning a display needs a licensed display operator, not a shop.
Bursting hours in Kerala
Rules change every season and can differ by district.
8:00 to 10:00 PM on Deepavali. Kerala permits certified green crackers only, and a silence zone of 100 metres applies around hospitals, schools and courts. Many Kochi gated communities and apartment associations also set their own rules for the common areas. Always confirm the current notification from Kerala Police, the local body and the Kerala State Pollution Control Board before you light anything, and read the Kochi cracker timings for 2026.

Crackers cannot be sold through an online payment gateway, so every order is confirmed by a person before you pay. It takes five steps and about two minutes of your time.

Your name, mobile number, PIN code and delivery address. No account, no password, no payment at this step. You get an order number straight away.

We confirm on WhatsApp
A real person checks stock and sends you the final total, usually within a few hours. Anything out of stock is swapped or removed before you pay.

Pay by UPI
Pay the confirmed amount by UPI or bank transfer and send us the screenshot. We verify payments at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM every day.

We pack and dispatch
Your parcel goes out by registered transport with a tracking reference. You collect it at your town's transport office, or take door delivery where the transporter offers it.
Questions people ask before ordering
How can your prices be this much lower than a shop?
We are a Sivakasi dealer, not a retail shop. We buy at the dealer rate straight from the factory and sell close to it, so there is no shop margin in between. That is why our price sits typically 85% below the MRP printed on the box and still leaves us a fair, small margin.
Is this genuine Standard Fireworks stock?
Yes. We stock Standard Fireworks and nothing else, and every box reaches you factory-sealed with the printed MRP and contents intact. We never open, repack or re-label anything.
Why can I not pay by card on the website?
Following the Supreme Court direction on the online sale of fireworks, we do not run a payment gateway. You place the order here, a person confirms stock and the final total on WhatsApp, and then you pay by UPI or bank transfer.
What is the minimum order?
₹5,000. Fireworks move by registered road transport, and a smaller parcel costs more to send than it is worth.
How does the parcel reach me?
By registered road transport, never by air or ordinary courier. Parcels for Kerala leave Sivakasi westward over the Shencottah gap to Kollam, or round through Nagercoil to Thiruvananthapuram, and then travel north up the coast. Your parcel is booked to the transport office nearest you, and we send you the transport name and the LR number to collect it. Door delivery is available where the transporter offers it.
Where do you deliver?
Kochi (Ernakulam) and the rest of Kerala: 22 neighbourhoods across Kochi and 14 more cities on the same transport run, and nothing beyond it. Keeping to one run is what lets us quote a delivery date and stand behind it.
Am I buying from a marketplace or a reseller?

Do you deliver to apartments and gated communities in Kochi?
Yes. Give the tower, block and gate in your address, and we pass them to the transporter. The apartment towers of Kakkanad and the high-rises along Marine Drive usually add a rule of their own: one open ground, a fixed hour, and nothing lit from a balcony or the terrace. Check with your association before you order.
